About The Role

PD&MS Group have a great opportunity for a Proposals Manager to join our expanding Business Development team based in Aberdeen on a full time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the co-ordination and management of the preparation of Company tender information and ensuring all submissions meet Company and potential client expectations, whilst making every effort to maximise Company potential to successfully secure tender assignment.

Duties will include but will not be limited to:

Management of the preparation of prequalification documents and ensuring all appropriate personnel are engaged and contributing to the Tender Submission Process
Management of internal co-ordination of technical and commercial clarifications
Propose technical and commercial solutions to meet Client needs
Prepare tender cost estimate using bid/no bid tool and Management of tender costs thereafter and manage the collation of the final submission documents
Upon successful award, in conjunction with the Chief Commercial Officer, ensure the final contract incorporates the position agreed during the negotiations.

The ability to lead and manage under pressure
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills
Exhibits good understanding of tender process
Ability to work as part of a team
Professional conduct
Ability to work on own initiative
Ideally you will have some technical knowledge or background
