You’ll have experience of:
- On/offshore FEED and detailed design Control and Instrumentation surveys and sourcing technical understanding. (Preferred but not essential)
- Control and Instrumentation design experience (Oil & Gas preferred but not essential) in delivery of Control and Instrumentation projects.
- Typical software packages used for Control and Instrumentation engineering design:
- AUTOCAD (and RastorCAD) / MicroStation /Bluebeam
- Producing and checking the below design deliverables:
- Block Diagrams / Loop Diagrams / Termination Diagrams / Interconnection Diagrams / C&Es / Layout Diagrams / Cable Schedules / Hook-Up Diagrams / Material Requests / Reports
- Control system modification, particularly on the wiring interfaces between field instruments and between systems:
- DCS/PCS / ESD/PSD/PSS / F&G / HIPPS / Metering / UCPs
- Managing own scope budgets, produce scope estimates and recognising and controlling scope change.
- Vendor liaison of all the systems vendors noted above.
- Offshore and onshore gas business but similar transferrable industries skills will be also considered in leu of specific O&G experience.
- CE/ATEX and UKCA knowledge is essential.

Qualifications
- HNC/HND in Engineering discipline preferred
- Significant, demonstrable experience in Detailed Design Engineering
- Detailed understanding of all Engineering disciplines
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant Oil & Gas Industry Codes and Standards
- Understand the application of Autodesk Design products
- Conversant in most common Microsoft Office applications
- Having offshore BOSIET, MIST and medical are preferred for the role with experience of site surveys.
