Working Pattern: Permanent / Full Time

As the Head of Procurement & Supply Chain, you will:

  • Lead the strategic sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management efforts to optimise efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
  • This role involves developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Oversee the procurement process including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Analyse market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory levels and optimise supply chain processes to reduce lead times.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with contract and operational requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement, materials team.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and supply chain performance to senior management.
  • Monitor and manage risks related to supply chain disruptions.
  • Lead the overall group procurement strategy in line with divisional requirements
  • Responsible for ensuring professional development is maintained and identified competency requirements are undertaken in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in a relevant subject or equivalent
  • Membership of a recognised professional body
  • Significant, demonstrable experience in a similar position
  • Direct experience of the strategic control of suppliers
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant oil & gas industry codes and standards
  • Experience in managing and developing others
  • Competent in the use of MS Office applications
