Working Pattern: Permanent / Full Time
As the Piping Designer, you will:
- Have experience of performing studies, FEED, and detail design of Piping fabrications in an EPC environment or client role is highly preferred.
- Have worked in a brownfield environment/project preferred.
- Sound knowledge of offshore piping lay-out requirements (Design, Safety, Construction and installation and maintenance aspects).
- In depth Knowledge and understanding of 2D drafting standards, In depth experience of piping drawings requirements/presentation.
- Experienced in producing Piping plot plan, Piping and equipment General arrangement drawings.
- Experienced in producing Piping detail (fabrication)drawings (Piping isometrics and Pipe supports).
- Using and interacting with cloud data to develop piping design and clash check. Previous experience in using ReCAp pro or LFM would be preferred.
- Generating piping survey scope of work and liaison with DC team for laser scan as well as tie in survey.
- Liaise closely with other disciplines to ensure all equipment requirements and vendor data are addressed in the design, specification of equipment, construction sequencing and commissioning.
- Provide value adding knowledge to constructability reviews and take consideration of layout restrictions, ergonomics, safety, utilities, and maintainability.
- Technically competent in own discipline and actively maintains own competence according to standards and pursues continuous professional development.
