Contract Manager

About The Role

Summary:

PD&MS Group are recruiting a Contract Manager to deliver Projects, Major Events and Asset Engineering across onshore and offshore infrastructure on a full-time, employee basis, based in Grangemouth. This is a strategically important role for both PD&MS Group and our client.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of EPC delivery, excellent stakeholder management skills with demonstrated experience in Contract and Commercial Management. This role is for an established contract with cross functional teams in place to support delivery. You will have autonomy on the day to day operation and decision making for the contract, whilst being fully supported by the business to step up and deliver.

Key responsibilities:

Manage the relationship between our project team and our client
Design, implement and maintain contract delivery processes
Input to operational personnel recruitment, training and resource allocation
Understanding and positively reacting to Client needs
Responsible for development, management and delivery of Company budgets

About You

Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive people management and relationship building skills and should be an excellent communicator. You should also have great commercial awareness and be client and quality focussed with the drive to continually improve.

We’d like you to have a Degree in Engineering or Project Management and have some formal recognised Project Management qualification. You should ideally have previous experience in the offshore sector, preferably Brownfield, in a similar role and a good knowledge of planning systems.
