About The Role

PD&MS Group have a great opportunity for a Certification Engineer to join our progressive Commissioning team based in Baku on a full time, contract basis. Reporting to the Lead Certification Engineer you will undertake completion of system handover, in line with project schedule and milestones, ensuring all systems are handed over fully certified.

 Working Pattern: Employee Fixed-term contract / Full-time
 
 As a Certification Engineer you will:
 
  • Oversee certification (e.g. Orbit) and HCP activities
  • Report on completions progress as required by the project, and/or a suitable action tracker
  • Liaise with Construction (on and offshore), and DCC to ensure all HCP activities are completed in accordance with procedures
  • Support the project verification process
  • Comply and verify of ’Mechanical Completion’ handover packages in line with agreed system of handover schedule
  • Ensure Mechanical Completion data, documentation and handover are in accordance with project procedures
  • Produce field-test reports (FTR's), and liaise with construction and commissioning personnel to ensure correct completion of these
  • Provide support to stakeholders and Client to ensure their part of the handover process is functioning correctly
  • Work closely with Document Controllers to ensure certification is transmitted and received correctly
  • Define the construction deliverables and assist in setting up, populating and maintaining the PIMS database
  • Adhere to the company integrated management system
  • Comply with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policies
  • Demonstrate and promote PD&MS QHSE principles and lead by example

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A recognised technical qualification. GOC foundation
  • Previous experience in a similar offshore certification role
  • Demonstrable experience of an Electronic Completions Database and project close-out requirements and activities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commissioning and system handover processes and procedures
  • Good understanding of overall project delivery process
  • Proven experience with PIMS (super user)
  • Competency in the use of MS Office applications  and PC based certification systems
  • Survival BOSIET / FOET with CA-EBS
  • MIST (Minimum Industry Safety Training)
  • Excellent written and spoken Azerbaijani and English
