About The Role

We are looking for a Lead Commissioning Engineer to join our Commissioning team based in Baku on a full time, contract basis. In this role you will carry out and witness Commissioning activities and ensure that all systems are installed in accordance with the approved project designs and specifications and ensure work scopes are carried out on time.

Working pattern: Employee fixed-term/Full-time


As a Lead Commissioning Engineer you will:

 
  • Ensure Budget, Manpower and Project Schedules are maintained
  • Attend PD&MS Management / Client Meetings as required
  • Prepare and Maintain PD&MS Commissioning Management Systems
  • Oversee Completions System and Certification Engineers
  • Produce project reports and Commissioning Completion Reports on assigned projects
  • Ensure Commissioning is carried out safely in accordance with regulations and procedures
  • Ensure all necessary Commissioning documentation is produced in a timely manner and co-operate with Technical Documentation teams to ensure timely delivery of O & M manuals
  • Achieve fast and effective handovers including the timely delivery of all commissioning documentation, training, etc.
  • Attend / co-ordinate tri-party system walk downs
  • Attend off-site testing and pre-commissioning activities by suppliers or others as needed
  • Co-operate with tight change control procedures on assigned projects
  • Ensure commissioning punchlist is compiled and correct actions are assigned to appropriate person
  • Impart and apply best practice and knowledge sharing
  • Adhere to the Company Integrated Management System
  • Comply with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policies
  • Adhere to the requirements of the best practice standards recommendations and processes, in particular, risk assessment and control, reliability and failure prevention necessary to ensure the safe design, provision and use of tools, equipment and systems

About You

Qualifications:
 
  • HND or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical or Instrument, combined with extensive proven experience
Experience / competence:
 
  • Site experience in commissioning procedure and certification (e.g. GOC)
  • Sound commissioning experience both site based and in planning activities
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Experience in managing and developing others
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Valid offshore certification
