Control & Instrumentation Designer (Baku)

If you are passionate about Control and Instrumentation (C&I) Design, have some energy industry experience, or have transferable skills, then we would love to hear from you. Reporting to the Lead Instrument Designer, the main functions of the role will be the execution of Project work, in accordance with PD&MS and / or Project Procedures within the man-hour, cost budgets and project schedule targets.

As a C&I Designer you will:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject and previous experience in detail design with an awareness of other disciplines.
• Sound technical background, sound knowledge of CAD drafting techniques and full understanding of materials and methods normally used within the Instrument discipline
• Proficiency in use of AutoCAD and MS Office products
• Computer literacy (Database / Tag Data Tool Spreadsheets)
• Ability to interpret P&IDs
• Ability to address operational and maintenance issued in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution
• Previous experience / knowledge of client's Caspian Sea assets, procedures and software is seen as an advantage
• Willingness to attend site (offshore Caspian Sea) would be seen as advantageous
