Working Pattern: Employee Fixed Term Contract / Full Time 

As a Piping Designer, you will:

• Produce Piping Plot Plan, Piping and Equipment General Arrangement drawings.
• Produce Piping detail (fabrication) drawings (Piping isometrics and Pipe supports).
• Use and interact with cloud data to develop piping design and clash check.
• Generate piping survey scope of work and liaison with DC team for laser scan as well as tie in survey.
• Liaise closely with other disciplines to ensure all equipment requirements and vendor data are addressed in the design, specification of equipment, construction sequencing and commissioning.
• Provide value adding knowledge to constructability reviews and take consideration of layout restrictions, ergonomics, safety, utilities, and maintainability.
• Maintain own competence according to standards and pursues continuous professional development.

The role offers:

You’ll have experience of:

• Offshore and onshore Oil and Gas business experience. Similar transferrable industries skills will be considered in lieu of specific O&G experience.
• Experience in 3D modelling and study (AutoCAD plant 3D is preferred but other similar 3D tools are considered acceptable)
• Knowledge and understanding of CATS&SPEC and Design application of 3D modelling tool is essential for the role.
• Generating 3D models (AutocAD plant 3D preferred). Competent in using Navisworks manage.
• Design checking deliverables that conform to all applicable industry engineering codes and standards as well as the client’s policies and procedures relative to the piping and equipment being specified. Sound knowledge of relevant commonly used codes and Piping standards therefore required.
• Tie-in survey data and implementing in detailed design deliverables (Flange face orientation/deflection etc.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
• Knowledge of Microsoft packages, AutoCAD 2D, Navisworks and AutoCAD Plant 3D (or any other 3D piping modelling tools) are essential.
• Understanding and ability to interpret system Process and Instrument Diagrams.
• BOSIET and medical certificates are preferred for the role with experience of site surveys.
• Knowledge of Azerbaijani and English
